I am trying to understand this college-related question properly before making a decision: Is there a stream change disadvantage of 2.5% for an admission in St. Stephen's College for a BA (Hons)?

If anyone is studying there, has graduated recently, or seriously researched this option, please share honest details about academics, campus environment, faculty support, fees, and overall student experience.

One issue people usually mention is that the institute suits a very specific kind of student. If you enjoy a quiet, academically serious environment, that can feel like a strength. If you want a large social campus, it may feel limited.

That is where the difference between image and reality usually shows up.
I would ask about these points before judging it too quickly:
- academic pressure in an average semester
- how approachable the faculty are
- what non-academic life looks like
- whether the workload leaves space for anything outside classes

That is the part I would double-check before taking any strong opinion seriously.
A place can be excellent for serious study and still feel underwhelming to someone who wanted a wider college experience. Both things can be true at the same time.

That is usually the point where personal fit becomes more important than brand value.
