How should I shortlist MBA colleges if my budget is under 8 lakh?

I'm planning for MBA admissions next cycle and need help building a realistic shortlist. I want colleges with strong ROI, decent summer internships, and a manageable total fee because I do not want a heavy loan burden.

If your budget is fixed, remove any college where the official fee already crosses your ceiling before living costs. That keeps the list honest. Then compare placement reports with alumni reviews instead of rankings alone.

Make a sheet with tuition, hostel, average salary, and batch size in separate columns. ROI looks very different when a college has a huge intake. I would also mark whether internships are guaranteed or student-driven because that changes the overall experience.
