Are the CMI students allowed to go outside the campus?

The honest answer usually comes from current students because campus rules can change and old forum posts become stale fast.

That is where the difference between image and reality usually shows up.

I would check everyday things instead of just asking whether students can step out:
- hostel timings
- attendance pressure
- late evening access to library or labs
- transport to the city
- how strict weekend movement is

Talking to one current student and one recent alumnus usually clears this up faster than reading ten random comments.

Some campuses are not restrictive on paper but still feel enclosed because the environment is small and heavily academic. That difference matters more than a yes or no answer.

That is the part I would double-check before taking any strong opinion seriously.

If freedom and student life matter a lot to you, speak to students from different years. First-year students and final-year students often describe the same campus very differently.

This is one area where official wording is rarely enough. Lived student experience matters far more.

That is usually the point where personal fit becomes more important than brand value.

Campus comfort is a mix of rules, people, routine, and how easy it is to breathe outside academics. That full picture matters here.
