Selection Process For Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2025

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The PET evaluates a candidate’s physical stamina through endurance-based tasks, most commonly a long-distance run (typically 5 kilometers) to be completed within a set time.

Performance in this test is qualifying in nature but essential, as it ensures that the applicant is physically capable of performing field duties required in police service.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

In the PST, candidates are measured against fixed physical standards such as minimum height and chest expansion (for males).

This stage checks whether the candidate meets the physical norms set by Rajasthan Police for constable duties. No physical activity is required; it’s purely a measurement-based assessment for eligibility.

3. Written Examination

This objective-type written test assesses the candidate’s knowledge in areas such as General Knowledge, Reasoning, Rajasthan-specific current affairs, and laws.

The marks obtained are used in the final merit list. It plays a crucial role in shortlisting candidates after physical tests and is conducted in a time-bound manner.

4. Document Verification

Candidates who pass the physical and written tests must produce original documents for verification. These include educational certificates, identity proof, caste/category certificates (if applicable), domicile, and other supporting papers.

5. Medical Examination
