Refund Policy for Indis Academy

This Refund Policy is intended to clearly outline the terms under which refunds may be considered for various courses and programs offered by Indis Academy. By enrolling in any of our educational offerings, students implicitly agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein. Each refund request will be meticulously reviewed, and the final decision will rest solely with Indis Academy. All refund determinations will be made based on the precise circumstances of each individual case, subject to the conditions detailed below:

1. Recorded Courses

Students who purchase pre-recorded courses from Indis Academy are strongly encouraged to review the course materials within the initial 24 hours following the purchase to ensure the content meets their expectations. It is imperative to note that:

  • Refund Eligibility: In instances where a refund is sought, the request must be formally lodged within the initial 24-hour period following the course purchase. After the expiration of this 24-hour window, any requests for refunds will not be entertained.

  • Content Usage: In the event a student has accessed a substantial portion of the course material (defined as more than 20%), the right to a refund is automatically forfeited, and no exceptions will be made in this regard. The Academy retains the right to review and audit the extent of content access before rendering a decision.

  • Finality: Once a refund decision has been rendered, it is considered irrevocable, and no further disputes or appeals will be considered by Indis Academy.

2. Offline Courses

For students attending our offline, in-person courses, the refund conditions are as follows:

  • Refund Request Timing: Any student who wishes to seek a refund must do so before the completion of the fifth scheduled class or session. After this point, the Academy will not consider any refund requests, regardless of the reasons cited.

  • Placement Contingency: Should Indis Academy fail to facilitate a placement opportunity for the student within 18 months from the date of course enrollment, a partial refund may be considered, subject to the discretion of the Academy. Such refunds will take into account the length of the course, participation, and other relevant factors, and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

3. Online Courses

For students enrolling in any of Indis Academy’s online courses, the following refund terms will apply:

  • Full Refund: A request for a full refund must be submitted within 48 hours of the student’s participation in their first live class session. This request must be formally communicated to the Academy’s support team within the aforementioned timeframe.

  • Partial Refunds and Placement: In situations where Indis Academy is unable to arrange a suitable placement within an 18-month period following the start of the course, a partial refund may be considered. However, the final determination will be made based on the student’s engagement, completion of course modules, and other relevant considerations.

  • Content Usage Clause: Students who access a significant portion of the online course content will be ineligible for any refund consideration.

4. Online Bootcamps

Students who enroll in Indis Academy’s online bootcamps must adhere to the following refund conditions:

  • Full Refund Request: Any student seeking a full refund must submit their request within 48 hours of participating in the first live bootcamp session. Refund requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.

  • Placement Failure: If, despite completion of the bootcamp, Indis Academy is unable to arrange a placement within 18 months of course commencement, a partial refund may be considered. The decision on whether to grant such a refund, and the amount thereof, will be at the sole discretion of Indis Academy.

  • Resource Allocation: Once bootcamp-specific resources, such as tools, plugins, and access to platforms, have been allocated to the student, no refund will be processed.

5. Pay After Placement Bootcamps

Due to the unique structure of Pay After Placement Bootcamps, the following refund terms will apply:

  • Enrollment Fees: The initial enrollment fee, once resources (e.g., Learning Management System (LMS) access, tools, plugins, hosting) have been allocated, is strictly non-refundable. This policy remains in effect regardless of student participation in subsequent classes or modules.

  • Partial Payment Cases: In exceptional circumstances, students who have enrolled under a partial payment plan will not be eligible for any refund in any cases.

  • Enrollment Fees Refund: As Indis Academy also covers the cost of resources for students, such as cloud hosting, tools, and other materials required for practical sessions, we may issue a partial refund for students facing issues such as language barriers, technical difficulties (LMS or related to academic), or relocation outside of India (where we do not offer placement services). The refund window will be 90 days, as we need to receive refunds from our service providers, such as hosting providers, tool providers, and other resource providers. We will only approve refunds for the amount refunded by our service providers (Digital Ocean, Toolszap, NestSEO, and BlackBox), which is generally 40-60% of the total cost. The final refund request will be decided by the Indis Academy Resolution Team, and their decision will be final.

  • Placement: In the event that placement is not secured within six months of course completion, no additional fees will be charged. Furthermore, students will retain access to placement drives and other career support services free of charge.

  • Enrollment & Course Fees: Enrollment fees means the fees which you paid to join the bootcamp or course. Course fees indicate that final fees which you will pay after the placement. In case of non-payment of course fees after placement for 1 year or we do not get any response for 1 year, we have right to cancel the certificate and report it the the employers community.

By enrolling in our pay-after-placement courses you are agreed to our terms of services and refund policy as well. In some cases we may refund the enrollment fees which are below:

  • If Course delayed more than 2 months
  • If we unable to allot a seat within 30 days of enrollment
  • If there are no slot available for any new students

In other cases Refund of enrollment fees is not possible. If you have taken single lecture or downloaded any material from our portal you will not eligible for any refund.

For refund of enrollment or cancellation you need to inform our team within 24 hours of enrollment. After 24 hours of enrollment once your training portal id generated, no refund will be processed by our team.

6. Mentorship Program

For participants in Indis Academy’s Mentorship Program, the following refund conditions apply:

  • No Refund Policy: All payments made for the Mentorship Program are final and non-refundable. Refund requests will not be entertained under any circumstances once the mentorship program has commenced.

7. 1-to-1 Expert Consultation Program

For the 1-to-1 Expert Consultation Program, the refund conditions are as follows:

  • Non-refundable Consultation Fees: All fees associated with the Expert Consultation Program are non-refundable. Refunds will not be provided once the consultation has been scheduled or conducted.

8. Violation of Terms

Any student found to have violated Indis Academy’s terms of service, including but not limited to sharing LMS access credentials, attempting to download, redistribute, or resell class materials, engaging in piracy, or any form of intellectual property infringement, will forfeit their right to a refund. Indis Academy retains all rights over its course materials and content, and any such violations will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

9. Assessment Participation

To maintain refund eligibility, students are required to participate in at least one or two scheduled assessment tests. Failure to meet this participation requirement will result in automatic disqualification from placement drives and we do not accept any refund request from such students.

10. Inactivity for 60 Days

If a student fails to attend either live or recorded sessions for a continuous period of 60 days, the Academy will issue a formal reminder. Should the student fail to respond or resume participation within a reasonable timeframe, Indis Academy reserves the right to remove the student from the course or batch, and no refund will be provided under such circumstances.

11. Refund Request Procedure

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Indis Academy support team at academy@indisjob.in The decision made by Indis Academy regarding refunds will be final, binding, and not subject to further dispute or appeal.
